Cranberry Orange Pecan Bread For 2-lb. Breadmaker

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, cut in small pieces
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients except cranberries and pecans in the breadmaker pan in order listed.
  2. Choose Cycle 5 for Sweet Bread, 2 pound loaf for size of bread and light for crust color. Press Start. Add cranberries and pecans at Add Ingredient signal. Breadmaker will beep 10 times about 30 minutes after the cycle begins. When done, remove bread from breadmaker and carefully remove kneading paddle from bottom of loaf.
  3. Let cool 10 minutes before slicing with a bread knife.
